When the homeowner requested that a fountain and waterfall be placed at specific locations, guided by the advice of a respected feng shui master, the garden designers began by considering how the overall design could honor these beliefs. At the same time, they sought to preserve the Ginggaanbai identity: creating a garden that is not only beautiful, but also practical, seamless, and naturally integrated with daily life. This was the beginning of “The Borderless Line” , a concept aimed at connecting every element of the garden without boundaries. The essence of this design lies in creating fluid lines without limits, ensuring every view feels connected. From the stone wall flowing alongside the waterfall, to the pavilion that is simple yet full of dimension, to the interplay of larger and smaller green spaces. Each element creates a gentle rhythm that feels balanced and alive. Whether looking from outside in, or from the home out into the garden, greenery gradually extends and weaves its way in. The house and garden are no longer separate spaces, but one and the same. For gardens with limited space, proportion and distance are critical. Ginggaanbai emphasized fine details to add uniqueness: textured paving surfaces, a small pedestrian gate adorned with wood-pattern tiles, and hidden corners that invite discovery.
