It is undeniable that one of the sources of happiness is seeing the smiles of our loved ones, and it would be even better if we could share those moments every day. The Blissful Patio originated from welcoming a new family member. The garden owner wanted this area to support learning and growth, creating joy and fulfillment through beautiful nature and water features. The special requirement was to improve the existing garden to make it more functional and accommodate activities for family members of all ages, maximizing the use of space. Gingaanbai began designing with the house as the main focus, using the long axis parallel to the house to organize the garden's functions and create a versatile space. A pavilion was built adjacent to the house, expanding the usable area and creating continuity from the interior. An interesting feature is the wall decorated with a golden horse head sculpture, which not only catches the eye but also symbolizes growth and stability. The long, parallel, overflow pond is highlighted by a waterfall flowing from a short brick wall, directing the eye to functional features on both sides. The pond's length leads to a swing at the end. A continuous path, interspersed with carefully selected greenery and evenly spaced lampposts, provides adequate lighting for nighttime use and enhances the warm, romantic atmosphere. At the end of the pond, a swing provides another lounging spot, catering to the various relaxation styles of the family members. Another essential item in Gingaanbai's garden design is a hidden hand and foot washing basin in one corner. Whenever this area becomes a gathering place, this basin adds convenience and ease to life. With its well-blended functional elements, the garden's warm and gentle color tones and harmonized features make this space a Patio that always brings happiness close to nature.
