Ginggaanbai was honored to present its show garden in the Master Garden zone at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Show 2025, held from March 28 to April 6, 2025, in Guangzhou, China. The project was proudly supported by Shenshui Ecological & Environmental Technology Co., Ltd, a key partner committed to advancing sustainable and meaningful landscape design. Titled “The First Drop,” the garden draws inspiration from the delicate moment when the first raindrop of the season touches the earth—a subtle yet powerful sign of renewal. This concept captures the beginning of a new cycle in nature, awakening life and inviting movement, growth, and reconnection. Designed as a peaceful retreat for body, eyes, and mind, the garden features a ripple-patterned floor inspired by the gentle expansion of water when touched by a falling drop. These flowing lines lead visitors toward a central circular space, where cushions are arranged for gathering, conversation, and quiet celebration. In another corner of the garden, a smaller, more intimate seating area invites reflection beneath a vertically striped shading structure, evoking falling rain. The filtered light creates a soft and serene atmosphere, encouraging a moment of stillness. The garden’s central design feature, Groove Shading, serves both as a sculptural highlight and as a light-filtering canopy. A tiered waterfall adds depth and gentle movement to the space, visible from multiple angles to enhance the immersive experience. Bright, seasonal plants were chosen to reflect the joy of new beginnings, while the circular patterns seen throughout the walkways—both at the main and secondary entrances—symbolize the continuous, interconnected rhythm of nature. In recognition of its thoughtful design and execution, The First Drop was awarded the Gold Award by the event’s distinguished panel of judges. This international recognition marks a proud milestone for Ginggaanbai and reflects the team’s dedication to creating landscapes that speak to the quiet beauty of nature and the human spirit.
