Held at the close of 2024 to welcome the New Year 2025, the festival aims to inspire participants in various ways, one of which is the belief that design can bring color and fulfillment to life. This garden exemplifies Ginggaanbai's meticulous minimal modern style and demonstrates how thoughtful design can enhance lifestyles and enrich daily experiences. Ginggaanbai chose a palette of white, beige, and light gray, reflecting the tones of Omani homes, contrasted with the black of reflective water surfaces that shimmer under the night sky. The garden entrance features a floating pathway over water, signaling visitors that they are stepping into a relaxing embrace of nature. A cascading water feature divides the garden into two main zones. The Shelter features a central U-shaped bench that provides wide views of the garden and comfortably seats up to eight people. Equipped with a barbecue grill, it is an ideal spot for family activities on cool evenings. The soothing sound of the nearby waterfall enhances relaxation, helping to lower emotional "temperatures" even on the hottest days. The Tea Pergola offers a private nook for those seeking solitude while still feeling connected to the garden’s open vistas. Positioned near the waterfall, the pergola is perfect for enjoying tea or quietly rejuvenating the spirit with the calming sight and sound of flowing water. The plants and trees selected are tropical species capable of thriving in Oman’s extreme heat, ensuring the garden’s practicality for home adaptation.
