Beyond delivering beautiful gardens to many families, providing them with spaces to enjoy quality time close to nature, spreading joy, smiles, and creating cherished memories with their loved ones—which is the core value of Ginggaanbai's work—this year also marked several significant milestones for us as garden designers. Let’s recap the highlights together:

Ginggaanbai Garden Runway : The first-ever Garden Runway in Thailand, hosted by Ginggaanbai, brought garden design to a fashion runway. The event featured a mini-play that showcased the essence of Ginggaanbai. Not only did we present gardens in a unique format, but we also reunited with beloved clients and friends, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. Featured in Homes & Gardens Magazine : For the first time, Ginggaanbai's work was featured in the prestigious international Homes & Gardens magazine from the UK, known for curating inspiring home and garden designs from around the globe. Our project, Gingsite1888: The Streamline, was highlighted in the August issue.

Closer to Full Membership with the Society of Garden Designers (SGD): After over three years of effort, we are nearing full membership in the world-renowned Society of Garden Designers (SGD), established in 1981. Achieving this requires submitting three projects, each taking about a year to complete. We are now entering the third project, bringing us closer than ever to this milestone.

Shortlisted for the SGD Awards : We have been selected as one of 30 gardens in contention for the prestigious SGD Awards, often likened to the Oscars of garden design. Ginggaanbai previously had its moment akin to walking the red carpet at the Chelsea Flower Show, and this nomination is another proud achievement. In February 2025, the team will head to London, UK, to attend the awards ceremony.

Nominated for the SGD People’s Choice Award: In addition to being shortlisted by the SGD jury, we were also selected as one of 17 gardens eligible for the People’s Choice Award. This gives us a chance to win not one but two awards! Regardless of the outcome, we are proud to showcase Thai garden design at this prestigious event.

Designing for the Florescence Oman Festival of Flowers 2024 : A remarkable year-end honor: Ginggaanbai was invited to design one of the four showcase gardens for the Florescence Oman Festival of Flowers 2024, the first garden exhibition in Oman’s history. This project was a meaningful experience, allowing us to exchange ideas with designers from other countries and present a New Year’s gift to Oman while gaining valuable inspiration. Behind every step and effort is the aspiration to continually improve the quality of our work—not just for Ginggaanbai’s clients but for all garden lovers and supporters.
